C.5.22 Data Port Menu
The data port menu contains the controls for the physical output of the LS data.
The settings configured here, need to match the settings on the device set up to
receive the LS data.

Description Section
Baud Rate:
Sets the baud-rate for the communication with
the external device.
75, 110, 150, 200, 300, 600, 1050, 1200,
2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600,
115200
Default = 115200.

Data Bits:
Sets the number of data bits used for each
character.
7 - The number of data bits is set to 7
8 - The number of data bits is set to 8
Default = 8.

Stop Bits:
This setting determines the time between each
character being transmitted (bits per second).
0.5 - 0.5 bps
1.0 - 1 bps
1.5 - 1.5 bps
2.0 - 2.0 bps
Default = 1.0.
----
Parity:
The parity bit setting defines the type of error
checking used.
None – No parity
Odd – Odd parity
Even – Even parity
Default = None.
----
Flow Control: Sets the flow control.
None – No flow control.
Note: Only one option is available
