Ensure that details of the suspected card are available beforehand.
6.5.5 Modulator Card Failure
Use Table 6.3 to aid in diagnosing a modulator card fault.

alarm is shown, go to
Step 2.

Check the status of
the RF ports. Do the
ports reflect the reported
status?
Discuss the perceived
problem with Ericsson
Customer Support.
If the port is not providing
a valid output when it has
been enabled via the
Modulation Settings web
page, swap out the card
and retest. Refer to
Section 6.5.6 for details.
6.5.6 Hot Swapping a Modulator Card
